The Hiroshima Bus Center, located in Hiroshima City's Kamiyacho area, is the central hub for Hiroshima's bus network. It serves as the departure and arrival point for inter-prefecture highway buses, intra-prefecture highway buses, local route buses, and airport limousine buses.Here's how to get there from Hiroshima Station!
1.Basic Information: Hiroshima Bus Center
The Hiroshima Bus Center is a bus terminal boasting over 40 years of history. More than 1,000 buses depart and arrive daily, making it truly the gateway to Hiroshima.However, please note that it is NOT within walking distance from Hiroshima Station! Be sure to confirm your access method in advance.

The Hiroshima Bus Center is available for use from 5:30 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight).
The Bus Information Counter operates from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the Highway Bus Ticket Counter is open from 8:00 AM to 7:20 PM.
2.How to Access Hiroshima Bus Center
This time, we'll guide you through the various ways to access the Hiroshima Bus Center from Hiroshima Station.

2-1.Moving from Hiroshima Station by Local Bus
From JR Hiroshima Station South Exit, at Bus Platform B (stops 7, 8, or 9), take a bus that goes via Hiroshima Bus Center
The fare is ¥180, and the ride takes approximately 13 minutes. You'll be dropped off directly on the 3rd floor at the Hiroshima Bus Center, which is very convenient.
2-2.Hiroshima City's streetcars.
① Take Line 2 bound for Miyajima and get off at Kamiyacho-nishi.
②Take Line 6 bound for Eba and get off at Kamiyacho-nishi.
After getting off, the Bus Center is on the 3rd floor of Sogo, which is right in front of you. The fare is ¥190, and the journey takes about 15 minutes.
3.Hiroshima Bus Center's surrounding area
The Hiroshima Bus Center is located on the 3rd floor of Sogo Hiroshima.
Sogo's operating hours for the entire store are from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Also, the food hall next to the 3rd-floor bus center, called Bus Machi (literally Bus Town), is, as its name suggests, perfect for using while waiting for your bus. You'll find restaurants where you can have a proper meal, cafes for a quick break, bakeries, and souvenir shops.
It might be a good idea to arrive early and enjoy Bus Machi

The ticket counter is open from 8:00 AM to 7:20 PM, and the PASPY charging machines are available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.


Coin lockers are available for:
Large: ¥700
Medium: ¥500
Small: ¥400
You can use them between 5:30 AM and 12:00 AM (midnight).
You'll also find a convenience store, an ATM corner, and a waiting room there.
